A 31ª edição do Critics Choice Awards ocorreu neste domingo (04), abrindo oficialmente a temporada de premiações televisivas de 2026. Entre as categorias de cinema, os filmes “Pecadores” e “Frankenstein” empataram, com quatro estatuetas cada. Já nas categorias televisivas, a série “Adolescência” liderou o pódio com quatro vitórias, seguida por “O Estúdio” e “The Pitt”, com três prêmios cada.

No cinema, Timothée Chalamet, Jessie Buckley, Amy Madigan e Jacob Elordi venceram por suas atuações. “Uma Batalha Após a Outra” conquistou as estatuetas de Melhor Filme e Melhor Direção. Já “O Agente Secreto”, longa deKleber Mendonça Filho, garantiu uma conquista para o cinema brasileiro ao vencer na categoria de Melhor Filme Internacional.
